WARDROBE 44 is an exciting new womenswear brand specialising in comfortable glamour with a magpie twist. Founded by former print journalist Alex Gorton and inspired by contemporary European style with a British accent, Wardrobe 44's designs have been made with longevity in mind. Our pieces are created to fit seamlessly into your existing wardrobe and life. With exquisite attention to detail such as a statement cuff, an inspiring print or a small internal trim, our pieces will make you look and feel special. We are thrilled to have been featured in both Observer Magazine and YOU magazine and, worn by Claudia Winkleman in the finals of BBC 1's smash hit show The Traitors in 2024 and 2025.

Designed by Women for Women.
The beauty of shopping with a small female-founded brand like Wardrobe 44 is that we are as unique as you are. We work with carefully chosen partners to produce our pieces in tiny, limited runs, that only a few people will ever own. Designed by women, we understand that you want to feel current, contemporary and special, and have the confidence to step out into the world looking and feeling amazing. We hope that wearing Wardrobe 44 will help you do that.
Wardrobe 44 specialises in comfortable glamour with a magpie twist. Our clothes feel great to wear - the fabrics drape beautifully, our knits are created using soft yarns and our fits are designed to flatter. We also offer a magpie twist - something that sets our pieces apart from the norm, be that a subtly sparkly lurex trim, an elongated cuff or pleasing pocket details, our magpie 'twists' add an elevated edge to our designs.

SUSTAINABILITY
We are hugely aware of our impact on the planet and the people who live on it. We are proud to say that we only produce in tiny runs and that no garment of ours is ever sent to landfill. In the unlikely event that stock hasn't sold out, we will add it to our outlet, and eventually if we no longer have room to store it, we will donate the pieces to charity or women's refuges.
We also make a huge effort to ensure that the factories we work share our same ethical values in terms of workers' rights and environmental impact.
